The Orem Arts Council will present a free evening of great theater this Thursday, November 6 at 7 p.m. at the SCERA Center for the Arts. This live theater event will feature some of Orem’s most talented groups–SCERA, Hale Center Theater Orem, Utah Valley University, and Grassroots Shakespeare. Come and enjoy!

Payson Market Trunk-or-Treat
The Payson Market Trunk-or-Treat will be on October 30th from 5 pm – 7 pm here at the store, 586 North Main Street, Payson. Although there are some really cute polka dots inside.
Warning, straps do come separately, however, it fits into my purse and diaper bag which is great for taking on any outing and one less strap on my shoulder. You could also leave the strap around your camera hanging out and put it on your shoulder that way.

Day of the Dead Party at Museum of Peoples and Cultures
Join BYU’s Museum of Peoples and Cultures for music, face painting, sugar skull decorating, food, and cultural fun on Saturday, November 1, 2014.
Kids and families may participate in the afternoon while university students are welcomed in the evening. This is a free event!

Megan Lee Photography, Utah Photographer + Deals & Giveaway
I recently had the opportunity to work with Megan Lee Photography, a local Utah photographer who specializes in family, baby, and wedding sessions and more specifically, Utah County newborn photography and as an Orem family photographer. I feel slightly bad I’m going to crop her photos but I wanted you to see how amazing all of the photos are without having to scroll down and down and down. Megan took us up Provo canyon one gorgeous Fall day for photos for this session. I had never had pictures done at Canyon Glen Park and was pretty concerned about what there is to take a picture of at that location but when she led us to this location, I knew she was a good photographer, without even seeing our pictures first. For someone to be able to find beauty where I thought there was none, or very little – and I have a good eye for beauty – is a true sign to me of an amazing photographer.

This is how impressed people have been with how Megan was able to make us look so good. And trust me, most days it’s a hard thing to do with a dramatic 4-year old and a camera-phobic 2-year old.
