Small Business Saturday 2014

0

Small Business Saturday is on November 29, 2014.  Spend at least $10 at a registered small business with your American Express credit card and get $10 back up to 3 times!

To receive the $10 statement credit, the Card Member must use his or her registered Card to spend $10 or more in a single, in-store transaction at a qualifying small business location on Saturday, Nov 29, 2014. For example, if your transaction is only for $5, you will not receive a credit. Multiple transactions of less than $10 will not qualify even if the combined total of those transactions is over $10. You may purchase multiple items that together equal $10 or more, but you must purchase them in a single transaction to receive the statement credit. Online transactions do not qualify.

In the past, we have had an afternoon out of eating at local restaurants and within 90 days, we have always received the $10 back.  With Black Friday deals, Small Business Saturday is a great day to do some shopping and get it for free!

Utah Christmas Light Installation Discount

0

A local Utah company, TaskEASY, is offering a deal right now for Christmas light installation.  Use the discount code UWGZD2 and get 20% off of professional light installation!  TaskEASY takes the hassle out of trying to find a contractor and provides a licensed contractor for you.

This is a sponsored post. All opinions are our own.

There are some things I love most in life and one of them includes online scheduling where I can see the price before having to commit myself to anything.  For whatever reason, talking on the phone is stressful to me and I commit to buying things before I can really think about them.  But TaskEASY has made online scheduling easy for Christmas light installation by allowing you to tell them a little bit about your house while you get to see the price.  There are a few different options (I would go with white wire, clear lights, and the front of my house only, but there are many more options than that) then you pay and schedule your appointment.

Holiday-lights-installation

Once the appointment is made, you don’t have to worry about a thing.  Reminder emails will be sent out and they will take pictures and send them to you during the progress and end of the lights being hung.  At the end of the season when your lights are taken down, they will store them in a storage bin for you and you will get to keep the lights!

Snow removal and lawn cutting are also services TaskEASY provides.

Disney On Ice Presents Worlds of Fantasy Review

0

Utah Valley Moms had the opportunity to see the show Disney On Ice Presents Worlds of Fantasy‘s opening show last night and it was for sure fantastical.  Cars, Pixie Hollow, Little Mermaid, and Toy Story were all presented to the audience and the kids loved it.

Utah Valley Moms is a Feld Family Ambassador, and in exchange for UVM’s time and efforts in attending shows and reporting my opinion within this blog, as well as keeping you advised of the latest discount offers, Feld Entertainment has provided UVM with complimentary tickets to Feld shows and opportunities to attend private Feld pre-Show events.

Unfortunately for us, we were 15 minutes late which meant we completely missed Cars.  My son was pretty sad we missed it (he’ll have to get used to missing things with how late we always are) but he did really enjoy Toy Story.  My daughter, or course, loved all the Tinkers and fairies, as well as Ariel.

To learn more about this performance and a discount, make sure you visit our informative Disney On Ice Presents Worlds of Fantasy post.

IncrediBundles Review + Giveaway

62

IncrediBundles.com is a place for all of your gift-giving and personal needs.  It includes a place to buy diapers, books, toys, and other things that a first-time mom needs and probably wants.  Although I have two children, it was fun to go through IncrediBundles’ store to find some new things my kids might love.

This is a sponsored post, however, all opinions are our own.

I ended up choosing some storage boxes because after years of holidays, the amount of toys that have accumulated is quite large.  Despite me getting rid of toys every year, we still seem to grow our toy collection exponentially, even though we haven’t done so with the amount of children we have.  So finding some boxes that are collapsible is perfect for my family.

The other products that were most intriguing to me as a non-new mom were the books.  You can never have enough good books!
