  1. I just moved here and would be interested in taking my family to a Gingerbread House display. I’ve googled it and seen a few around, but which one makes the trip worth it/ which is the most attended and popular? I don’t want to take my family to a display that has maybe 10 or 15 decorated gingerbread houses.

    • I have actually never attended myself but there will be at least 40 gingerbread houses. Plus there’s much more going on than just the houses and it’s all for a good cause. Plus make sure if you have children that you print off the coloring page and take it for free admission for them. https://utahvalleymoms.com/2014/11/5th-annual-gingerbread-house-festival/

But if you’re only going to go to one, I would go to the Festival of Trees. It is in Sandy but 100% of the proceeds go to Primary Children’s Hospital. They will have some of the most amazing displays of gingerbread houses, plus they will have decorated trees, other decor, and other activities with performers. It is completely worth it. http://www.festivaloftreesutah.org/

  3. The Provo Pioneer Village is holding a pioneer/Celtic Christmas celebration on Saturday, December 20, and Monday, December 22, from 5-8 PM! There will be music, dancing, caroling, treats, crafts, Father Christmas, pioneer heritage, and more! A special Celtic music and dance program will be held at 5:30, 6:30, and 7:30 each night. There is a suggested donation of $2/person or $10/family; however, if you can’t pay, please come anyway!
