Spotlight & Giveaway: Wrap To Love Your Body
Fellow UCMs and readers: this week, Cambric, from Wrap To Love Your Body has some info to share with us and has a free wrap she is giving away! Here is what she would like to share with you:
Have you heard of the Ultimate Body Applicator by It Works? Let me tell you … it REALLY works! After having an almost 9 pound baby I was very unhappy with my body. I felt like the stretch mark queen and no matter how much I worked out or tired to eat right I still felt “squishy.” I was very skeptical because I had tried many stretch mark creams and had been working out but still had my “mom pooch”. My old college roommate (who had a baby a month after me) told me about these wraps she was using and getting great results. She told me with one wrap she lost 8 inches around her midsection! I had to try it! With my first wrap I lost 3 inches and it also diminished my stretch marks! After that I became a distributor and have been trying to get the word out on these life changing products. So far I have only tried the Ultimate Body Applicators but am excited to get my Defining Gel and Fat Fighter Supplements this week. I have seen amazing before and after pictures as well as heard great testimonials from REAL PEOPLE! See results in as little as 45 minutes!
WHAT: What is the product?
The “Ultimate Applicators” are a non-woven, gel impregnated-area targeting patch. They are all inclusive which means everything that is needed to apply the wrap is included in the package. No messy mixing of hard to find ingredients, etc. These are area targeting for trouble spots. The detoxifying agent: the gel is a combination of all natural plant and botanical extracts as well as astringents etc. The applicator is 22 x 11. The results are immediate and progressive which means most realize an immediate inch loss after only 45 minutes of wearing the applicator and continued results are achieved by continuing to wear the applicator for up to 8 hours and then up to 72 hours after removing the applicator.
WHERE: Where can I apply the applicator?
The applicator can be worn in the privacy of your own home, at your leisure, at your convenience. The body applicator can be applied to the arms, buttocks, abdomen, thighs, calves, etc. The chin and neck applicator is contoured and recommended for that specific area the formula is the same as in the body applicator. The facial applicator is contoured for the face and the formula is gentler than the body applicator. (I know some people that cut a body applicator to use part of it on their chin/neck and then the 2 sides on their love handles or arms. You get more wrap for your money that way).
DETOXIFICATION PROCESS:
The cells uptake the gel which is a combination of plant and botanical extracts (the good stuff most bodies are lacking) and helps facilitate the detoxification process by initiating cell movement and metabolism of the toxins. The gel is hydrating and putting the good nutrients into the body that is needed to facilitate the removal/metabolism of the toxins. Most bodies are lacking the necessary hydration and nutrients needed for this process. So, to get the bad stuff out we must put in good stuff.
Where do the inches go during the detox process? The inches are removed via the metabolism and release of the toxins. You will be detoxified in several ways: 1) air/droplet via lungs, 2) urine via kidneys, 3) stool via colon, 4) sweat via skin. Fat cells can be compressed and also can expand/swell, they can expand so much they split. You can never naturally remove these fat cells or the ones that have split but you can keep them from swelling and splitting even further.
There are no Diuretics or salt in these applicators. The detoxifying gel is actually hydrating the cells to facilitate the flush of toxins. Defining Gel is a daily gel that is half the strength of the gel in the applicators. The Defining Gel is recommended to help maintain the results although not necessary. Most people like the results of the daily gel use, i.e. the tightening, firming, toning, effect it has on skin. Results typically last from 2-6 months.
The It Works products do not come with a product guarantee mainly because everyone’s body is different. So far with my customers I have had varied results. I personally lost 3 inches on my tummy with my first wrap. With my second wrap I wrapped my thighs and noticed it diminished my stretch marks and I lost a half an inch per thigh. My mother in law didn’t lose inches with her first wrap but her skin is tighter and smoother and she felt healthier after the detox. My friend has tried 2 wraps now and noticed that the wraps have helped “heal” her stretch marks. The wraps will help with her stretch marks before she sees results with losing inches. My mother in law just ordered wraps and defining gel to help tighten her lose skin after she lost weight with gastric bypass surgery.
It continuously hydrates for firmer, smoother, more youthful-looking skin and reduces the
appearance of cellulite and skin slackening. If it is your first time using an Ultimate Body Applicator, we recommend that you only leave the wrap on for 45 minutes to test your skin sensitivity to the natural ingredients with detoxifying properties. For best results, use Defining Gel twice a day in between your Applicator uses.? This product is not recommended for pregnant or nursing women or children. If you have a medical condition, health concern, or are taking prescription medication, consult with your health care professional before using this product.

Family Night: Biking Trials
We recently received a bike trailer which has been great for taking our daughter with us on bike rides. I’ve pulled her once and it didn’t feel too heavy until I was exhausted and riding against the wind. My husband usually pulls the trailer and does a great job. It seems to be no big deal for him.
Living close to Provo Canyon, we have occasionally biked from our house up the canyon to parks. It is such a pleasant, peaceful ride. Here are some biking trails in Utah County:
Hobble Creek paved trail. Wide paved trail climbs lower Hobble Creek canyon, beginning in town and extending past the golf course to Rotary Park. 4.5 miles, 350 feet of climbing. Very easy ride, suitable for families with small children. Season March-December.
Jordan River Parkway. Paved foot, bike, and rollerblade trail along the Jordan River, from Utah Lake to the Jordan Narrows. Park for family picnics. Not crowded. Easy easy easy technical. Season March through November, but often clear of snow in winter.
North Fork, American Fork Canyon. Rocky gravel road up from Tibble Fork to Pole Line Pass in American Fork Canyon. Access to Ridge 157, Dry Fork, Mill Canyon Peak. Season June through October.
Provo River Parkway. Paved foot, bike, and rollerblade trail extends from downtown Provo up Provo Canyon past Bridal Veil Falls. Mostly shaded, good views of canyon walls. Easy technical, but good bike control required for youngsters to avoid collisions with multiple trail users. Season March through November.
Silver Lake. Easy loop around beautiful alpine lake for kiddies. Gravel-road ride with moderate climbing for older beginning riders. Easy technical. Options for single track climb/descent. Season June through October.

A Day in the Life of a Mom as SuperMom
Anyone who knows me well, probably knows that I’m somewhat of a neat-freak. You can frequently find me following my 13-month old around the house, putting things back after she’s strewn things all over the room or encouraging her to put them back. Why do I do it? Well, I don’t like messes.
Once it hits about 3:30 pm each weekday, you can usually find me in the kitchen, trying to entertain my daughter while fixing dinner as well so that we can eat as soon as my husband gets home from work. Most days the kitchen still looks pretty clean while I’m cooking and my daughter has managed to only play with a little bit of flour and sugar on the floor. But why do I try to make sure dinner is on the table no later than 5:30 pm each day? Well, usually it’s just because I’m really hungry by that time.
Routine is key for me in my day. Mornings start around 6-6:30 am each day – blogging, getting things ready for when my daughter wakes up, getting her up, giving her a bath, reading books, eating breakfast, going for a walk, cleaning up the house a bit while she plays or going to the library, eating lunch, putting her down for a nap and while she naps I shower, clean, cook, and blog, baby wakes up and we eat a snack, we read books, we do laundry, we play with toys, we visit friends, I start dinner, she goes down for another nap, she wakes up, husband comes home, we eat dinner, we clean up, we do family activities, baby gets another snack and goes to bed. Funnily enough, almost every weekday is the same. Of course, there are always a few minor changes to the schedule, but for the most part, it doesn’t waiver. She learns, we eat, she grows, etc. Why? Well, I just like schedules.
A couple days ago I read a KSL article about Supermoms. And it got me wondering, do I take too much pride in how I run the home? Do I try to do it all?
My conclusion? Yes.
But fortunately for me, I don’t think I’m depressed. However, maybe I need more children in order for it to really weigh down on me.
So my goal now is to relax. Enjoy each day because it is what it is. I don’t think I can stop myself from being clean and an organizer, but I do think that I can let my husband help with our daughter and help with things around the house without feeling like I need to be there to help all the time. I mean, let’s face it, he goes to work everyday, and although he works hard, he gets to play games, go out to lunch, interact with coworkers and is very far away from feeling a need to keep a tidy house and deal with a screaming baby.
Ugh. He’s so lucky.
