The Bouqs Review

0

Want the most gorgeous flowers delivered for you starting at only $40?  Well, look no further.  The Bouqs delivers beautiful, fresh flowers straight from eco-friendly farms on an active volcano.

There are two things that I love most about Bouqs and why I will never use another flower company:

1.  The flowers are absolutely stunning and keep their beauty for a long time.  It’s been 14 days since flowers to my mother for her birthday were delivered and they still look amazing.

2.  The Bouqs uses flat rates with no hidden fees and no extra charges for standard shipping.

Other things I love include scheduled delieveries – want to make sure you don’t miss Mother’s Day every year?  Schedule it and they’ll send them for you every year without you needing to remember!  I also love the vibrant colors they offer and the fact that you can upgrade and add another dozen for only $10!

This year I had a bouquet sent to my mother for her birthday.  They were set to arrive a day before her birthday just in case something happened and she didn’t get them the day they were supposed to arrive.  It was sort of a silly thing to do but it worked fabulously because there happened to be a delay because of weather and so the bouquet of flowers wasn’t ready to arrive until the following day, which was my mother’s birthday!  Unfortunately, that day, she missed the delivery man and because I had opted to have someone sign for them, they were sent back to the delivery man’s warehouse so she ended up not getting them until the day after her birthday.

At this point I was a little worried because this means they had been sitting around for at least 3 days in a delivery truck getting shuffled around.  I had no idea what sort of condition they were going to be in when they arrived but my mom sent me this picture of the day she received them and Bouqs really delivered!  They looked amazing!

Cornhole bags

0

So I don’t know about you but we have been having a ton of barbeques this summer. And summer barbecues mean summer games with family and friends. I’m always looking for fun new games to have at our barbeque so I was excited to try out the Cornhole boards from allcornhole.com. You also may have heard of it as the “bags” game. It didn’t take long once we received the boards for my kids to immediately start playing it. They couldn’t even wait until we took it outside.

Allcornhole.com has a lot of variety of bags and boards and they can all be customized. Here is what their website says about what they offer.

“All Cornhole has the largest selection of duck cloth and microsuede cornhole bags available online, with many colors to choose from. We carry standard corn filled bags in a variety of styles: weather resistant, RealTree or Mossy Oak camo, tie dye, dual sided (aka tournament series) or stick-n-slick. We even offer custom logo bag designs! All of our cornhole bags can be compared to American Cornhole Organization standards. We are confident that you will not be disappointed in the selection or quality we offer, so we have a 14 day money back guarantee if you are unsatisfied for any reason!

Don’t forget, we also supply top quality corn hole boards and other accessories. Every board we sell is ACO quality, to ensure your game is the best it can be. We offer unfinished or plain white boards that you can paint in your team’s colors or custom sets. Order a score keeper and some drink holders to make the game experience complete.”

I was very impressed with the stability of the boards. I have played cornhole before and the boards were not anywhere near as well made. My kids were climbing all over them to get the bags off and I wasn’t once worried about the boards collapsing on them. They are built very well. I also love that the legs fold in which makes it a lot easier to store the boards.  I love that you can customize the boards and bags with what fits your family best.

Cornhole is a very fun game for all ages. I love games that will entertain everyone at a party and this game definitely does that. Everyone who played it had a great time. Even my one year old loved it.

Collecting New and Used Shoes for Africa

0

Utah Valley Moms is excited to announce this humanitarian project.  Miss Orem, along with many other Miss Utah contestants, are collecting shoes for Africa.  Here is what she has to say about it:

As Miss Orem, I will be collecting shoes over the next year as a humanitarian project. Shoes of any size, any condition, and any style will be shipped to Africa where they are desperately needed. So before you think about throwing your old shoes away email me because I would love to take them off your hands.

P.S. If I collect the most shoes out of all the Miss Utah contestants I will get a free trip to Africa where I will personally deliver the shoes to the people there. Clearly, I am very motivated!! Every little bit helps, thank you!

Maddi Millard

If you are interested in donating to Miss Orem, please email her or contact us.
