Utah Valley has a few locations to view fireworks this 4th of July.  The Utah County fireworks displays are as follows:

Thanksgiving Point Fireworks: July 4th, Gates at Electric Park open by 5:30pm. Fireworks start at approximately 10:00pm. Bring a blanket and enjoy some food and fun, as there will be concessions and vendors present. Guests are invited to bring their own picnics, however, no dogs are allowed.

America’s Freedom Festival, Stadium of Fire, at the LaVell Edwards Stadium in Provo on July 4th. There will be the concert in the stadium and following the concert, usually sometime around 10:30 pm, the fireworks will begin. You will want to reserve some seating to see the firework display early because room to sit and enjoy the fireworks fills up fast!

Where can you see the fireworks from the Stadium of Fire? A favorite location is on the hill in front of the Provo LDS Temple (900 E. and Temple View Drive). The grass in front of the Marriott Center on BYU campus is also a great place to see them. Other locations include Rock Canyon Park, grassy areas near Seven Peaks, the grass in front of Glenwood apartments (University Avenue and University Parkway), and hiking up to the Y on the mountain. Locations we’re not sure about include a school near 2320 N and 650 E. and on BYU campus. Remember, to find a good location, you must stake out your spot early. Many people arrive during the afternoon and early evening and will stay. Also, traffic gets congested after the fireworks so plan in time to possibly sit in a lot of traffic. Know of other good locations? Let us know!
