The Monte L. Bean Life Science Museum will be opening its doors again to the public on June 7, 2014. Admission is free to June 7th’s re-opening celebration and the open house festivities will include live animal shows, highlights of the museum’s research collections, hands-on activities for children and the chance to view the museum’s 25 new exhibits and displays. This open house will run from 10 am – 5 pm at 645 East 1430 North, Provo at the BYU Campus.
The new exhibits include Our Living Planet, Life on Top: Apex Predators, Boyd K. Packer Gallery, Fred & Sue Morris Bird Gallery, Protect Your Planet, Whooo Lives Here?, and Life Submerged: Marine and Freshwater.
Although the opening day will have some great family activities, you may also visit Monday-Friday from 10 am – 9 pm or Saturday 10 am – 5 pm. Public Live Animal Shows are Mondays (6:30 pm, 7:30 pm), Tuesdays-Fridays (7:30 pm), and Saturdays (1:00 pm, 3:00 pm). For more information about the Bean Museum, visit mlbean.byu.edu.

this is so exciting! i have loved the bean museum in the past. we moved to eagle mnt and it’s been years since i visited. i’m excited to go with my 4 and 2 year olds!
