Jordan World Circus is in Utah 2014

0

We attended the Jordan World Circus last night in Orem at the UCCU Center at Utah Valley University. We had amazing seats, thanks to my good friend and amazing UCM contributor, and definitely enjoyed attending the event with a friend and her family.

The Jordan World Circus is originally from Las Vegas. It is a lower-production circus, however, the kids seemed to absolutely love it. There were tigers, dogs, a camel, a llama, and elephants, as well as other performers like clowns, dancers, and even a couple of acts with a motorcycle! And of course, there was a man flying through the air with the greatest of ease to end the show.

We made the mistake of comparing the Jordan World Circus to the Barnum and Bailey Circus which are similar, in that they are both circuses, however, there are also a lot of differences. The acts are different and there is some waiting time while various acts get ready to preform. The entire performance ended up being about three hours long so it was a long show for little babies who were tired – especially mine who was tired before we even arrived at the circus!

However, if you are looking for a good time with your family, you should enjoy time at this Jordan World Circus together. My children loved the animals (and there were a lot of them) and as it is a smaller circus, you even have the opportunity to ride the animals before and during intermission (for a fee).

Customer Value Package Yogurt Bliss

I took my family the night we received the Yogurt Bliss package in the mail to the Yogurt Bliss in Pleasant Grove – apparently the Yogurt Bliss that was in Spanish Fork closed.  There are four of us in our family so I thought it would be really easy to spend $10 in one purchase to use up our first coupon but turns out, it was really hard for us!  We ended up getting a bowl of just candy to use up the $2 that we still had left!

Customer Value Package Yogurt Bliss

My family really enjoyed Yogurt Bliss and we discussed all of the future coupons we still have left!  There are so many buy 1 get 1 free coupons left with a few others that are going to be able to be used over the next few months inlcuding 3 oz. free and if we visit 12 times, we get a free yogurt!

What I love about Customer Value Packages is that you pay a small amount for what it is actually worth and it is not by any means a one-time use deal.  We will be able to go back to Yogurt Bliss several times and get an amazing deal!  Plus we still have $20 left to use at Yogurt Bliss!

If you are looking for some amazing deals for local companies, visit Customer Value Package.  And stay tuned next week (January 27) for a Yogurt Bliss Package giveaway on our Facebook page!

Utah Valley 1K Kids Fun Run

0

The kids’ 1K fun run is happening this June!  My kids were registered last year but due to some really poor planning and some really grumpy people, we completely missed the 1K.

This Utah Kids K fun run offers children an experience to run into a finish chute with thousands of spectators cheering them to the finish. Each child will receive a shirt and a finisher ribbon. There will be food and fun in the finish area, including a bounce house. Each participant will receive a bib number, but the race will not be timed. This is designed to be a fun run that parents and children can enjoy without worrying about how fast they run.

Parents may choose to run with their children. Parents do not need to register to run with their children. Only the children need to be registered.

The first 2000 children to register will be allowed to run in the 1K!  And registration is free!

Giveaway: Jordan World Circus 2014

0

The JORDAN WORLD CIRCUS, one of North America’s premier traveling circuses, is owned and produced by Jody Jordan of Las Vegas, Nevada. Hailing from a long background of aerialists and circus performers, Jordan brings a unique talent to the circus management field. His exciting two hour shows are presented on annual tours from coast to coast and border to border by local Shrine Centers and clubs, police and fire associations, civic clubs and organizations, merchant associations, local presenters and venues, and fairs, festivals, parks and the like.

The JORDAN WORLD CIRCUS can be presented in either the traditional three ring American style layout, or in one ring European style format that provides all the elements necessary for a full and complete ‘up close and personal’ show. Our equipment consists of everything necessary for any kind of show: all acts and animals, lighted ringcurbs, complete lighting and sound system, scenery, costumes, props and rigging. We are comfortable appearing in any type of venue such as indoor arenas or coliseums, or outdoors at ballparks, stadiums, rodeo grounds or groundstands. We also appear often under our own circus Big Top tent where we can do either one or three ring sit-down or stand up shows. In point of fact we can custom fit the show to just about any venue space, large or small. We can give you a complete sit-down show to a short stand-up review.

Each performance includes all the elements of a traditional circus show including but not limited to: lions and tigers; amazing aerialists; dashing, daring, dauntless daredevils; fabulous funny clowns; enchanting elephants; boundless feats of balance and agility; hazardous horsemanship; precision performing animals of all shapes and sizes; plus we can bring in those mania motorcycle manipulators, the amazing Jordan ‘Danger Zone’ riders in the unbelievable Globe of Death! Producer Jody Jordan, who was taught motorcycle stunt riding by his father, the legendary John Jordan, one of the originators of the act, took the act in a new direction with a show stopping appearance on the block-buster television super special “Wow.” He also undertook the daunting task of teaching riding to Alfonso Ribeiro, star of the television series “Fresh Prince of Bel Air” for his spectacular appearance on the TV spectacle “Circus of the Stars.”

JORDAN WORLD CIRCUS features many new and exciting effects created especially for this show by the imaginative use of lighting, fireworks, staging and music. These amazing effects create a stunning response from the audience, and are one of the things that the JORDAN WORLD CIRCUS is known for. Rarely has such a sophisticated and intriguing show been available in any other but the largest cities and towns. Yes, it’s a truly kaleidoscopic wonderland of sight, sound and color all blended into one memorable entertainment experience that will not soon be forgotten. Now it is available to you.
