The real battle is not whether you live or die, but how you respond to the challenge.

The Tyler Robinson Foundation is all because of one great 16-year old, Tyler.  Tyler was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare form of cancer but despite the grave news, he inspired others, loved life, and spread happiness.

After battling his fight with cancer, Tyler’s family, friends, and a well-known band from Utah Valley got together and created the Tyler Robinson Foundation.  This foundation now helps other families who are going through similar battles.

On October 15, 2014, registration will open for a Gala taking place in Las Vegas with Imagine Dragons.

  1. Tyler Robinson’s story is so inspiring! And I love that Imagine Dragons is so willing to give back and support great causes like this one!!

    • Heather, I realized I never mentioned he passed away. But his family is definitely making good out of a bad situation!

  2. I like what the t-shirts say, “slay cancer with dragons”. What does the bird and what looks like it’s building a nest have to do with the foundation?

    • Good question! Here is what their social media person says:

“It symbolizes the fact that TRF wants to address all the UNSEEN needs of a family.

“not a sparrow shall fall without the father knowing it” (close to that) is the quote from the bible where this comes from.

It also means that together we are building something wonderful one small twig (effort) at a time. Also another thing to know is that Imagine Dragons doesn’t typically like images of dragons used in conjunction with them or the Foundation. Imagine Dragons is not literal it’s from an anagram.”
