UCM had the great opportunity to attend a Smashburger opening in Midvale, Utah this past week.
I had the Spicy Baja Smash & Smash fries. It was nicely presented with the jalapenos around the avocado on the top of the burger made it look like a flower. The smash fries with rosemary were fantastic.
Dan, my husband, had the BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger Smash and said it was excellent & loved the BBQ sauce. He also had the haystack onions and didn’t like those as well as regular onion rings; he said that since they were so thin, he felt like they absorbed more grease.
We had samples of the milkshake while waiting outside which was good. I liked the location in the Midvale shopping center. The restaurant had high ceilings. The staff was quite attentive. I thought it was a little pricey coming in at $21.61 for 2 burgers, 2 fries and 2 sodas, but Smashburger has a reputation of being a little upscale.
Overall, Smashburger is a great restaurant with incredibly yummy food.
If you don’t want to travel up to Midvale to visit the new location, Utah County has one in Orem at University Parkway and State Street.
Thank you to Smashburger for allowing us to visit you in Midvale!
