Mapleton Pioneer Days 2014

The Mapleton Pioneer Days 2014 will be held on July 24, 2014.  There is a lot of great information about the day at the Mapleton Day Celebration page.

Morning Activities at Main City Park

6:00 to 7:00am – Wake Up Call

6:30 to 7:00am – Flag Ceremony at Mapleton City Park

7:00 to 8:30am – 5K Race and Fun Run – Start and finish at Mapleton City Building

7:00 to 10:00am – Breakfast – at the City Park

9:00 to 10:00am – Parade begins at Mapleton Jr. High

10:00am to 2:00pm – Activities, Games, and Entertainment at the City Park

10:30am to 2:00pm – Lunch – at the City Park

Evening Activities at Ira Allan Park

 5:00 to 6:30pm Dinner in the Park (Bring your families!)

 6:30 to 7:30pm Helicopter Ping Pong Ball Drop (Children 6 – 14)

• 6:30 to 6:45 pm – Ages 12 – 14
• 6:45 to 7:00 pm – Ages 9 – 11
• 7:00 to 7:15 pm – Ages 6 – 8
• 7:15 to 7:30 pm – Prizes Awarded

8:00 pm to 10:00 pm THE PARTY CRASHERS

(High energy band specializing in music covering five decades from the 50’s thru today’s current hits)

 10:00 pm (Approx.) Fireworks in the Park – (Bring ear protection for small children). This year’s show will rival the Stadium of Fire, so come and get a front row seat on the grass! Sponsored by Trapnell Orthodontics and Mapleton City.

10:15-10:45 Native American Dance

10:45-11:15 Amiron Village (Contemporary, Pop)

12:00-1:00 Eskeltones (Folk Music)

1:00-1:30 Funky Fermata (Barbershop)

1:30-2:00 RAD (African drum and percussion)

Activities will include:
Dunk tank, inflatables, games, dessert bar.
