Chalk the Block Utah™ is proud to partner with Spectrum Academy in adding a fun new element to this year’s festival – the Spectrum of Colors Run. This fun, entertaining run will be held on the evening of Friday, August 3rd.
The Spectrum of Colors Run is a chip timed 5K and 1 Mile Fun GLOW Run benefiting Spectrum Academy, a charter school for students with autism. Whether you’re an avid runner or just want to enjoy a fun walk with friends, the Spectrum of Colors Run will be an unforgettable experience where you glow and the student’s grow!
Each race packet will include a T-Shirt and Glow-in-the-dark accessories. Prizes will be awarded to the most colorful participants. 5K Race Awards/Prizes will be given to the following Male/Female divisions: Under 16, 17-30, 31-49, 50+. Every participant will receive an award of completion at the finish line.
There will be a Pre-Party beginning at 8pm with music, glow-in-the-dark face painting, games, photo ops, Chalk the Block Scavenger Hunt and more! The 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk will begin at 8:45pm, the 5k will begin at 9:15pm. Awards will be announced at 10:00pm.
