The 23 Chick-fil-A® Restaurants in Utah will host a “Cookies for Kids” benefit for Primary Children’s Hospital on Tuesday, March 22 during restaurant hours. All sales from Chick-fil-A’s Chocolate Chunk Cookie will be donated to Primary Children’s and will benefit efforts to care for children with complex illnesses and injuries.
Primary Children’s Hospital cares for more than 200 patients each day and sees more than 40,000 emergency room visits each year.
“We’re honored to partner with Primary Children’s Hospital again this year to help contribute to the life-saving work that reaches far beyond Salt Lake City,” said Eric Champeau, franchise Operator of Chick-fil-A at Sugar House. “We encourage community members to visit any Utah Chick-fil-A restaurant and help support this worthwhile cause.”
The “Cookies for Kids” promotion raised more than $20,500 in 2014 and more than $25,000 in 2015. Chick-fil-A hopes to raise more than $30,000 through this year’s promotion.
Promotion is valid at all Utah Chick-fil-A locations on March 22 only. Valid purchases include: individual, 6-count, small trays and large trays of Chocolate Chunk Cookies. Trays must be ordered at least 24 hours in advance. Chick-fil-A will donate 100 percent of Chocolate Chunk Cookie sales to Primary Children’s Hospital. Monetary donations will also be accepted.
