Orchard Days in Santaquin

Saturday, July 30:

  • 8:00 – 11:00 am:  ATV Poker Ride, Centennial Park
  • 9:00 am – 12: 00 pm:  Buck-A-Rodeo, Santaquin Rodeo Grounds, admission is $1
  • 6:00 – 8:00 pm:  3-Point Shoot Out, Orchard Hills Elementary

Monday, August 1:

  • 12:00 – 8:00 pm:  Baby Show Picture Viewing, Santaquin City Library
  • 5:30 – 6:30 pm:  Children’s Parade, Centennial Park, Participants ages 0-12 can decorate your bikes, tricycles, wagons, etc, and come parade them around for everyone to see. Judging begins at 5:45 pm. Certificates will be awarded for various entries including queens choice, mayors choice, most creative, most unique, etc. Treats at Family Night behind the old City Center to follow. Gas-powered vehicles are not permitted.
  • 6:00 – 9:00 pm:  DUP Cabin Tours
  • 6:00 – 11:00 pm:  Family Night
  • 6:00 – 9:00 pm:  Art and Quilt Show, Santaquin Senior Center
  • 6:30 – 9:00 pm:  Santaquin Chieftian Museum Tour
  • 7:00 – 8:00 pm:  Pie Eating Contest, Santaquin City Offices
  • 9:00 – 11:00 pm:  Movie in the Park, Santaquin City Offices, “Despicable Me,” concessions will be available

  • 6:30 – 10:00 pm:  RMPRA Rodeo, Discount Tickets can be purchased at the City Offices until 4:30 pm on August 3rd for $1 off. Saturday is ‘Tough Enough to Wear Pink’ night, wear pink to support the fight against breast cancer. Gates open at 6:30pm. Rodeo starts at 7:30pm. $8 Adults; $6 Children (3-16 years). Saturday, August 6:

  • 7:00 – 8:00 am:  5K and 10K, Centennial Park. $20 for 5K, $25 for 10K. Participants need to register at the Recreation Office or online by July 14th to be guaranteed a race t shirt. $5 discount for online registration. Race day registration from 6-6:30am, $25 and $30. Walkers are welcome. Enter the whole family and start your day off on the right foot or left, your choice. Packet pick up available on 8/5/2011 from 8am-5pm at Mountainland Physical Therapy, 94 West Main
  • 8:00 am – 4:00 pm:  Car Show, Centennial Park
  • 8:00 – 8:30 am:  Flag Raising Ceremony, Centennial Park
  • 10:00 am – 5:00 pm:  Activities in the Park, Centennial Park, vendors, crafters, car show, food, and entertainment
