Each year on Labor Day weekend, thousands of people from across the United States gather in Orem, Utah for the annual Timpanogos Storytelling Festival. Centered in the custom-designed Mt. Timpanogos Park set in Provo Canyon, Timpanogos Storytelling Festival celebrates the best of performance, comedy, and music with the greatest tellers from throughout America and around the world. From National Public Radio contributors to award-winning authors, our storytellers recreate the craft of famed storytellers like Mark Twain, Garrison Keillor, and Will Rogers. With events throughout the day and into the evening, we have activities and adventures for every story fan.

Shivers in the Night – We’ll be up late at Mt. Timpanogos Park for an evening of creeps and crawls. Our spookiest stories are perfect for older kids and teens, an unforgettable date night, or anyone who likes a good shiver with their stories. Spend a night getting spooked under the stars.

Other Information
- Please no toddlers or babes in arms. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Daytime temperatures are typically 80° F and above.
- SCERA Shell has lawn and complimentary chair seating. Evenings can be cool. Bring a jacket or blanket.
- Festival events at Mt. Timpanogos Park will not be cancelled in case of inclement weather.
- If it looks like brief or light rain during evening events at the SCERA outdoor amphitheater, please bring a poncho.
- All tickets ordered online or by phone after Wednesday, August 24th, will be held at will-call.
