Utah’s Own is having a recipe contest throughout Davis County to Utah County. Here are the rules:
- Create an original recipe using a minimum of three Utah’s Own products. Clearly list all Utah’s Own products. If you purchase anything from a Utah’s Own Farm, please clearly identify the Farms name.
- Submit your recipe online.
- Bring your prepared dish to one of our judging locations listed above.
This Saturday, July 30, the contest will be at Lehi’s Macey’s located at 760 E Main Street, Lehi from 11 am – 1 pm.
It will be back in Utah County on September 10 at Fresh Market located at 652 N 800 E, Spanish Fork from 11 am – 1 pm.
The best part is that there are prizes involved:
1st Place: 7 night Caribbean Cruise for two – dates TBD – based on availability on an inside cabin. Includes roundtrip airfare for 2 from SLC. Grand Prize also includes $300 visa gift card, $300 ARS gift card and a Weber Genesis Grill from Gygi and 2 cooking classes from Gygi. Approximate prize value $4110
2nd Place: 2 night stay from Hotel Monaco in SLC. One Le Creuset French Oven Pot 7 ¼ qt from Gygi, four cooking classes from Gygi and a $200 ARS gift card. Approximate prize value $1490.
3rd Place: 1 night stay from Hotel Monaco in SLC. One Actifry Fryer from Gygi, 2 cooking classes from Gygi and $100 ARS gift card. Approximate prize value $860.
Weekly Prizes: $100 for 1st place, $75 for 2nd place, $50 for 3rd place.
Registration begins at 11 am and judging starts promptly at 12 noon. Participants must have three copies of the recipe and dishes will be tasted by three judges. For more information, check out their website.
