Saturday, May 16, 2015 from 7-9:30 pm is the Art Ball 2015, A White Glove Affair. The event will be held at the Springville Museum of Art (126 E. 400 S.) with ball gowns and white gloves encouraged, but optional.
Once there, many options will be available to guests. There will be hors d’oeuvres, dessert fountains, mocktails, a scavenger hunt with prizes, and dance instruction. Dance instruction will be given by award-winning BYU ballroom dancers which include 1950s music (Fox Trot, Jitter Bug, Swing, etc), minuet (think Pride and Prejudice), and country line dance. There will also be an area just with “vintage” love music (Frank Sinatra, etc).
This whole event goes towards benefiting the Springville Museum of Art. The Springville Museum of Art provides free events throughout the year for the community.
Tickets go on sale March 16 and are only $25 for the first 600 tickets sold. Tickets will be $35 thereafter.
