Harvest Festival, Thanksgiving Point 2014

Enjoy FREE admission for live music, artisan vendors, produce vendors, and crowd favorite, the 10th annual giant pumpkin weigh-off presented by Utah’s Giant Pumpkin Growers! Registration for the weigh-off starts at 8 am and judging beings at 11 am. The weigh-off starts at noon. Notable records from previous years include a 1,600 pound Utah State record pumpkin in 2011 and an 825.5 pound squash in 2012. Other competitions include weigh-offs for long gourds, giant tomatoes and watermelons, as well as Cornbelly’s corn-shucking and popcorn-eating contests. At the event, kids will get to make crafts and participate in activities.
