Offers the Chance to Win a $500 Shopping Spree
Salt Lake City, Utah—November 27, 2013—The Gateway Shopping Center in downtown Salt Lake City has unveiled an invigorating new ambiance and many new features just in time for holidays. To celebrate, The Gateway invites community members to enter to win a $500 shopping spree by posting an image of yourself enjoying your favorite feature at The Gateway on Facebook. Simply tag The Gateway in your post. The contest runs from December 1–19.
“We think this Facebook photo contest is a great way to invite the community to come and experience our new ambiance and some of our cozy winter elements such as our improved seating areas and our new fire pits,” said Rochelle Fraser, marketing director at The Gateway. “I look forward to watching the public enjoy our many new features and I can’t wait to see the creative comments and photos that are posted on Facebook.”
The Gateway renovation is part of Retail Properties of America, Inc.’s $2 million property improvement plan, which began in the spring of 2013. The improvements include a freshly painted Grand Hall in the Union Pacific Building, enhanced handrails on the staircases, new seating areas throughout the shopping center as well as cozy fire cauldrons and fire pits.
To enter The Gateway Refresh Facebook photo contest, take a photo of yourself enjoying one of your favorite features at The Gateway and post it on Facebook. Tell us why you like this particular feature, use the word “refresh” in your post and make sure to tag The Gateway.
A committee will choose one winner from the entries based on the creativity of the photo and the post on Facebook. The winner will be announced on December 20 via Facebook and the certificate for the $500 shopping spree will be held for the winner at The Gateway offices.
