April is recognized in the United States as Child Abuse Prevention Month. With this month-long observance, communities and organizations raise awareness around the critical issue of child abuse and neglect and educate the public on prevention.
Various family organizations in the state of Utah are all holding events simultaneously on April 27, 2013 in honor of Child Abuse Awareness. The money raised from this race will go to help each organization.
The Family Support & Treatment Center will be hosting their Fun Run on April 27 at 10 am. There will be a Kids’ 1 Mile, 5K, and 10K. Sign up online here.
