If you haven’t been to Salt Lake to see the lights at Temple Square, I would definitely recommend it.
When I was young, my parents would always take me on Christmas Eve. It was so fun to see all of the lights, listen to the Christmas Story, and feel the Christmas excitement in the air.
As my husband and I have tried to start our own Christmas traditions, this has not been included but we may have to start going now that we have a little one who loves bright lights and people – it’s the perfect environment for her. It’s just too bad her bedtime is 7 pm!
The Temple Square lights will run until January 2, 2011. I believe the lights stay on until about 10 pm and the visitor’s centers stay open until 9 pm. This event is free and very worth the drive!
