Fall Break in Utah Valley ideas

Fall Break for most in Utah County is October 19-23. It looks like the weather will be a bit chilly this year but that shouldn’t stop us from enjoying all of the activities and events that are happening that are family-friendly for us to enjoy!

Free Activities

Happy Valley Farmers Market:  Friday, October 20 – Try the fresh, local produce and the amazing handmade crafts. Stop in with family and friends for a relaxing stroll through the market.

Pet Costume Contest:  Saturday, October 21 – If you’re not registering pets, come take a look at some of the best pet costumes around.

Vineyard’s BOO-A-Palooza:  Saturday, October 21 – Vineyard’s annual Halloween event! Themed trick-or-treating booths, donuts, coloring contest, games, food trucks, and more!

Learn & Play: Creepy Crawlers:  Monday, October 23 – Registration required, for kids ages 2-5 only.

Paid Family-Friendly Fall Break Ideas

Although we have a list of Fall and Halloween attractions listed here, these are some of our favorites:

Sparklepark:  located at Trolley Square, this is the world’s first family dance park! You’re just going to have to see it to believe it. Use the code “UTAHVALLEYMOMS10” for a discount.

Rowley’s Red Barn:  located in Santaquin, you get the ultimate farm experience with a wagon ride out to the field, pumpkins to pick, corn to wander through and activities for kids. Don’t forget to save a little money for some food at the barn, too.

Jaker’s Farm:  located in Springville, for $2 admission you get rides and activities. It is perfect for kids. Prepare to spend a few hours there letting the kids explore!

Little Haunts:  located at This Is The Place Heritage Park in Salt Lake City, you get a pioneer experience with little cabins and fun activities for the kids. Don’t forget to grab donuts. They’re delicious! Mention “Utah Valley Moms” for $2 off your tickets.

Cornbelly’s:  located at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi, this is a great place to spend all day. It may be a more expensive option for the family but the kids will love it. Pack a lunch or buy lunch there. There are also activities there that cost extra. Get $3 off with the coupon code “17FALLFUN3” online.

McCoard’s:  located in Provo. This is one we like to go to each year. Enjoy a corn maze, hay ride, and other kids activities.

Pumpkin Nights:  located at the Utah State Fair Park in Salt Lake City, visitors can enjoy over 4,000 pumpkins lit up. Activities and food are also available. Make sure you get tickets ahead of time to get your preferred date and time. “SLMOMS” for a 20% discount.
