The Cedar Hills Family Festival 2014 runs from June 21 through June 28. Individual and package tickets are available in advance for the Swim Night meal, Friday night dinner, and carnival. Purchase at the City Office or the Online Ticket Order Form.

Friday, June 27

– Rocky Rhiddlehoover Memorial Fun Run, Cedar Ridge Elementary School, 5:30 pm
The run is free to the public but we will accept donations, which will benefit different charities in which Rocky was involved. Fourteen year-old Bruce Rhiddlehoover, known affectionately as “Rocky” to his family and countless friends, was tragically killed on July 9, 2013, at a Boy Scout camp in Sanpete County while engaged in one of his favorite pursuits: unselfishly providing service to others.

– Dinner and Movie in the Park, Heritage Park, 7:00 pm
Enjoy a catered dinner by Maceys for the entire family, and then kick back and watch a family-friendly movie under the stars at dusk. Bring blankets, pillows, and lawn chairs for a fun family time! Dinner tickets with the pre-sale ticket package are just $5 and will be available at the gate for $7. The movie, the original The Love Bug, is free for everyone!

– Carnival, Heritage Park
Enjoy the day with your family at Heritage Park for the Cedar Hills Family Festival CARNIVAL! Midway West Carnival will provide rides, games, and concessions. All-day ride passes are $15 at the gate. A two-day pass is available in advance at the City office for $18.

Saturday, June 28

Parade, 10:00 am
The parade starts at Deerfield Elementary, travels north on 4600 West to the roundabout, and ends on Cedar Hills Drive at the church east of Heritage Park. Our 2014 grand marshal is Cedar Hills resident Herb Wilkinson, who, in 2012 at age 89, won a silver medal and four golds in track and field at the Huntsman Senior Games in St. George

Carnival, Heritage Park
Midway West Carnival will provide rides, games, and concessions. All-day ride passes for the carnival are $15 at the gate.

Children’s Games, Heritage Park, 12:00 – 4:00 pm
Free games, prizes, and candy are all you need to say to get kids, ages 3-11, to Heritage Park on Saturday, June 28. The children’s games area (located at the south end of the park) will be open from 12:00-4:00 p.m. and include classic carnival-type games, face painting, balloon artists, Bingo, and a loaded prize booth. The Treasure Hunt at the volleyball court begins at noon, and the popular Ducky Derby in the creek begins at 12:20 and runs every 20 minutes until 3:40, followed by the championship game at 4:00 p.m.

Shakespeare’s As You Like It – Amphitheater, 2:00 p.m., FREE
Grassroots Shakespeare Company is coming to the Cedar Hills Family Festival! Enjoy “a collaborative touring ensemble of multidisciplinary artists who create joyous, vibrant productions inspired by Shakespeare’s original staging techniques.” Come and enjoy this unique theatrical experience! Baking Contest – Heritage Park Pavilion, 4:00 p.m.
Do you like to bake? Enter a baked item in the Family Festival baking contest for a chance to win great prizes! There are two age categories: 13 and younger, and 14 and older. Concert in the Park – Heritage Park Amphitheater, 7:00 p.m., FREENathan Osmond
Nathan Osmond, voted “Best Local Country Artist” in Utah, will headline this concert, which is the first of the City’s 2014 Concert in the Park series. Nathan delivers a high-energy, crowd-pleasing performance that always leaves his audiences wanting more.

Fireworks – At dusk around 10:00 p.m.
Family Festival 2014 will go out with a bang! The annual Fireworks Spectacular will be let off from the golf course driving range for all to see!
