We want to let you know about some of the resources available for Martin Luther King Day on Monday, January 20th.

  • The one-hour premiere of Dinosaur Train: Nature Trackers Adventure Camp on KBYU Eleven at 9:00 a.m.  Celebrate the life and civil rights work of Dr. King on January 20th, the National Day of Service, where volunteers across the country work together to make a difference in their communities. These two booklists feature fiction and nonfiction books about ordinary people who stand up for what’s right as well as stories about helping others and giving back.

  • MLK, Jr. Day at Discovery Gateway

    Kids can honor Martin Luther King, Jr. at Discovery Gateway on Monday, January 20, from 12-4 p.m. Activities will include a paper kids chain in the “35 Years of Play Area”, an I Have Dream chalk board, and a book reading of “The Crayon Box that Talked”.
